Dr. Jim Carpenter is both a clinical psychologist and a research parapsychologist. He is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology, ABPP, and a Fellow in the American Academy of Clinical Psychology, and is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He served two terms on the board of directors of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology, and carries on an active private practice
